UAV HiVis decals/stickers (ebee & others)
UAV HiVis decals/stickers (ebee & others)
(Note: after further testing, we have reverted back to the chrome/mirror finish as used on MK1. The holographic colours too often returned blue and red in the sky. So whilst Holographic looked cool, it's a case of function over form.)
HiVis reflector decals/stickers for the Sensefly Ebee. These can be installed in 5mins (to other brand UAV's too). Often the ebee UAV (RPA) is difficult to see on those bright blue sunny days. These reflectors bounce the light back to the operator aiding the ebee's whereabouts. They may also help other air traffic identify the ebee object further out. Whilst not proven, the high blinding effect may be enough to put the wanna-be attacking birds off their game - at very least they will not identify the UAV as a 'bird'.
These can be purchased from our site www.RPASaustralia.com.au
Suitable for all small uav's

Winglets(4) 115mm x 40mm
We recommend giving the EPO surface a light grit sanding down to remove/flatten the 'nipples'. (Unecessary on new wings)
Followed by methylated spirits to wipe down the EPO foam and allow to FULLY dry.
On the leading edge, line up the underneath edge protection strip (yellow), rub gently left to right working your way up and over the top surface.
Aileron surface, avoid placing right near the edge, leave 5mm. Because the foam is very thin on the trailing edge, beads of EPO can pick away on rough landings etc.
The decal 'appears' low tack but it will adhear with time.
So get it on right the first time, don't lift it off to reposition.
For the first 24hrs give it a regular rub especially near the nipples...I'm not being suggestive!
We recently removed the Mk1 version from an ebee to put Mk2 on, it was so well adheared we were concerned it would pull EPO beads out.
